Coat Color Testing Form

NEWS: This is a notice for anyone who is interested in having horses coat color tested by Dr. Rebecca Bellone over the coming months.  Dr. Rebecca Bellone has her own laboratory and is currently set up to test for; Tobiano, Agouti (recessive black) and Extension (red gene). Since she is going to the U of Kentucky on May 5th to begin her summer research session for the Appaloosa Project, she will not be able to perform coat colour testing until she returns to the U of Tampa in July.  For this reason, if you send hair samples after May 5th, you will not receive test results until after mid-July.  Those who would like to have horses tested and don't mind waiting, feel free to send in hair samples any time, and they will be stored at her office until she returns.  Thank you to everyone who has already used this service - your contributions to the Appaloosa Project are greatly appreciated!
